Protecting human health is our primary duty.
Within the scope of our quality policy, starting from raw milk, in the processes of packaged dairy products until they reach the consumer; It is the basic duty of all Bahçıvan Peynir employees not to compromise our Quality and Food Safety standards, to comply with environmental conditions and occupational health and safety principles, to ensure healthy nutrition of our customers, to protect and improve our existing quality system in every unit and to gain the trust of our consumers.
Bahçıvan Peynir guarantees sustainable food safety in all processes under hygienic conditions, in compliance with BRC standards and Halal production, together with the implementation of effective quality management systems.


Our Environmental Policy
No business is worth anything if nature is destroyed.
From the very beginning, we have adopted the principle of respecting our business, our consumers and the Earth, because without a livable world, no business has any meaning. That’s why we think about the Earth at every stage of our business.
We follow a sustainable environmental policy in every step we take; we are committed to complying with environmental legislation, current regulations, administrative regulations and international regulations appropriate to our sector. We implement sustainability programs by taking the necessary measures to reduce the use of natural resources and to use resources effectively.
We identify and control the factors that may cause environmental pollution. At the same time, we prevent environmental pollution by continuous improvement efforts. In this sense, we aim to prevent pollution at the source, to separate the wastes that may arise as a result of production at the source and to contribute to recycling as one of our activities that we consider very valuable.
Since 2001, we have been recycling whey. Since 2005, we have been working for clean water at our wastewater treatment plant. We want to set an example for all organizations in our sector.
Energy Policy
Our energy resources are not infinite, but our understanding of conservation is.
By using the energy we have with maximum efficiency, we work to protect both the future of our business and the future of the Earth. This is our sustainable production approach.
In 2005, we started to generate electricity from natural gas and to work with Cogeneration technology, which enables electricity and heat energy to be produced together. We have been working on reducing the amount of greenhouse gas emissions in our production facility for years and we are getting more and more efficient every day.
By internalizing our understanding of sustainability in our corporate culture, we conduct trainings on energy efficiency with our employees, frequently inform them and ensure that all our employees reduce their energy consumption.
In recent years, with the development of environmental awareness, studies on efficient energy use have increased around the world. We support the purchase of designs that will improve energy performance, products and services that provide energy efficiency by following all legal regulations and requirements on energy. To ensure the continuity of our system, we constantly test our system and make updates when necessary. There is still a lot we can do.


Bahçıvan Cheese Memorial Forest
In order to leave a livable world to the next generations, we said that we must first appreciate what we have and we started the Bahçıvan Cheese Memorial Forest project. Our saplings are turning into a forest in a short time.
We breathe and better understand the value of life in this forest we established with our 10,000 saplings in Kırklareli-Babaeski Çavuşköy.
